FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We have given you the ability to change your protein, vegetables and carbohydrates quickly and easily, all your tastes have been catered for. Please note that prices are subject to change depending on seasonality and availability as does your personal training.

FITNESS FOOD PACKAGING

Our freshly prepared meals are each cooked by a top culinary chef from gluten free recipes and placed directly into BPA free, microwave safe packaging for your health. Our packaging is also safe to freeze and boil. Your meals are guaranteed to stay fresh and delicious for up to 7 days with all its nutritional value intact. Carry your meals with you every where you go with these safe anti leak packages. Meat can be frozen from fresh and last for up to 3 months, vegetables for 1 month. Once frozen, we highly recommend you do not consume cold or at room temparature, please follow preheat instructions before you enjoy.

 

MEAL HEATING INSTRUCTIONS

Our vacuum sealed packaging system is microwave safe. In order to microwave simply pin a little hole on the smooth side of the bag. Massage the bag to allow air in and heat for 1-2 minutes in a 1000W microwave until steaming hot.

For tastiest – we recommend removing items from the vacuum bags and placing on a microwave safe dish:
Some items are fresh and others are frozen so care should be taken to ensure steaming hot to avoid any contamination. If still cold/frozen increase by 5 seconds at a time till the desired temperature is reached. In general the mirowave cooking times from fresh are as follows:

  • Steak & Kangaroo - Medium Cooked 45 Seconds in a 1000w Microwave.
  • Chicken & Turkey - 1 Minute in a 1000w Microwave.
  • Seafood / Salmon / Tuna - 40 Seconds in a 1000w Microwave.
  • Starches / Carbs - 1 Minute in a 1000w Microwave.
  • Vegetables - Quick 30 seconds in a 1000w Microwave.

* For best results microwave separately and on high settings.

Disclaimer - As the pieces are not always the same we cannot accurately give a time.
You as the customer will need to use the above information as a guide and adjust the timing range that suits your microwave.
As a reference for every 100Watt difference add or subtract 5 seconds.
For frozen add 30 seconds to all reheating times and once again only eat once meat is steaming hot.
The above guideline will try and ensure the meat is still pink and juicy.
If a Well done meat is desired please add 1 minute to all cooking times.

STORAGE QUESTIONS

To prolong shelf life for 7 days store at the back of a fridge that is 5 degrees or less are requirements. At minimum you should refrigerate meals at all times to maximize the foods freshness.
You may freeze meals to further prolong shelf life, you can now choose Frozen meals as an option for those who aren't too hungry right now. Ensure meals are defrosted in fridge overnight before heating is highly recommended. Meat can be frozen fresh for 3 months and vegetables for 1 month.

We use PayPal as our primary payment provider for all online meal orders; PayPal supports credit card payments without a PayPal account enabling even the simplest once off transaction. PayPal Visa Mastercard Accepted

    WHEN CAN I PLACE MY ORDER?

    You can place your order at any time as long as you get your order in by our two cut off dates.
    Our order cut off times are Friday Midnight for delivery the following Tuesday group and Tuesday Midnight for Fridays delivery group.

     

    WHAT ARE THE BEST MEALS FOR ME?

    Our meals and meal planners are designed to work in with your current daily calorie intake. If your unsure about what your daily calorie intake is suitable for your desired goals please see a specialist nutritionist, coach or dietician before purchasing a Fit kitchen package.

     

    HOW IS MY ORDER CONFIRMED?

    You will receive an email from our catering services confirming your order details, pick up point and payment details.

     

    HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

    Payments are made securely online with paypal, including Credit Card payments (VISA, MASTERCARD & DISCOVER), the most trusted payment provider around the world.

     

    DO I RECEIVE A TAX INVOICE?

    Yes you will get a new invoice included with with each order.

     

    WHEN ARE THE DROP OFF TIMES AND WHEN SHOULD I COLLECT MY ORDER?

    Pick up times for all orders are as follows: Applecross 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Mt Lawley 3.30pm to 6:00pm, Innaloo 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Currambine 4.30pm to 6:00pm, Midland 5.30pm to 6:00pm and Malaga 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

    You will also be notified your approximate collection time and address by SMS on your chosen collection day and the gym where it is most convenient.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF A PRODUCT I ORDERED I DAMAGED?

    If any product that reaches you is damaged or spoilt please contact our customer service team on info@fitkitchen.com.au.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF A PART OF MY ORDER IS MISSING?

    Please make sure you check your invoice and your order thouroughly for mismatched items at the time of collection. If you still have an item missing please contact the customer services team on info@fitkitchen.com.au

     

    WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT BILLING OR ORDER ISSUES?

    CAN I AMEND MY ORDER AFTER I HAVE CHECKED OUT?

    You can only amend your order via emailing info@fitkitchen.com.au , once you have checked out and your order is finalized you are not able to go back to your order and amend anything. If you urgently need to make a change email the customer services team no later than 24 hours before your cut off time.

     

    CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

    Yes you can, please contact Fit Kitchen if you are unsure about your order. Please ensure you contact the customer service team at least 48 hours before the cut off time.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM RUNNING LATE TO COLLECT MY ORDER?
